My passion is to help others find strength and balance on and off the mat, using yoga, crystals and Thai massage to release tensions from the body, mind and emotions.

    I first took a yoga class after surgery and chemotherapy, thinking yoga would be a good way to rebuild physical strength.  Finding that yoga improved strength, flexibility and balance of the mind as well as the body, my yoga journey began.  I have been teaching yoga since 2009 and am certified by Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500).  I have additional training in yoga therapy, restorative yoga, pranayama, meditation and certification in teaching Trauma Sensitive Yoga.  During yoga therapy training I was introduced to the healing energy/vibration of crystals and also to Thai massage (facilitated stretching and energy movement).  These areas interested me and I pursued additional training and then certification in crystal healing and Northern Thai massage.  My most recent certification is in Brain Longevity Therapy, from the Alzheimers Research and Prevention Foundation.

Basic Yoga

Basic yoga postures and alignment principles are taught and used as the foundation for this class.  Using breath linked to movement will allow the body and mind to strengthen. A short meditation will be practiced at the end of class.  Great for beginning students as well as those who would like to revisit the basics or just to slow the pace down.  Must be able to get up and down from the floor unassisted.


Candle Flow

This 50 Minute Vinyasa Flow Class will be the most relaxing experience for both the body and mind.  Also including a 10 Minute Candle Light Meditation, this class will let the layers of stress peel off and expose our internal light.  All levels welcome.  Modifications will be provided.  Must be able to get up and down from the floor unassisted.

Belly Back & Butt

For those who don't enjoy sets of crunches and leg lifts, yoga can be an excellent alternative to strengthen the buttocks and stomach. In addition to aiding the poses, breathing deeply while practicing yoga further engages the muscles of the stomach.


Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of bolsters and props. The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body.

Aerial Restorative

Restorative aerial yoga is a practice that utilizes the hammock, hovering 12 inches off the ground, as well as blocks, bolsters and blankets to fully support each pose that we move into.  We will stay in each pose for approximately five minutes allowing the body, mind and emotions to unite, giving us time to stretch and explore how we feel and what we feel.  Restorative aerial yoga relaxes our nervous system, improves quality of sleep, slows the heart rate, reduces blood pressure, relieves tension held in the body, improves range of motion and flexibility, it stimulates lymph flow and soothes the emotional body.  Come and make the shift from your sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous system and into your parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system.

You can book your own personal yoga class to gain experience and confidence in your practice. The one-on-one attention you will receive with the instructor can help you make improvements quickly, without feeling overwhelmed or nervous about being in a full studio. 

Additional Requirements For Aerial Classes:

·         Remove all rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets that may catch the fabric and snag it before class.

·         Be mindful of sharp fingernails and zippers on clothing.

·         If there are any wounds that may bleed during practice, dress them with athletic tape to prevent staining the fabric.

·         Wear a top that covers the armpits and pants that cover backs of knees.

·         Attempt to use a lint roller to remove any possible animal hairs from clothing to prevent possible allergic reactions.

Contraindications: Individuals with any of the conditions listed below should discuss with the instructor PRIOR to registering for class and should be discussed with the individual’s physician as well. Please note that this list is not all-inclusive.

Northern Thai Massage

90 Minutes - $110

Northern Thai massage (sometimes called "lazy persons yoga") is a fully clothed therapy performed on a firm floor mat.  The practitioner uses their palms, fingers, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to perform rhythmic pressure, work the energy lines (Sen lines), assist progressive stretching, bring you into some yoga postures, and breath work to allow the energy lines (Sen lines and Nadis) to open, flow and balance.  This rhythmic therapy allows one to enter into a state of deep relaxation as well as allowing any imbalance of energy to flow through and out of the body.  The Northern style uses more stretches than any other style.


Benefits include increased flexibility, increased energy flow, lymph stimulation, reduction of swelling and edema, and facilitate the release of emotional pain or blocked energy.


The receiver should wear comfortable clothing such as a cotton T-shirt, light cotton sweat pants or yoga pants.  The receiver should be able to get and up and down from the floor, and should not eat a large meal in the hour before  the session.

Crystal Healing

Crystal healing allows your energy to move freely within and around your body.  Energy that cannot move freely can lead to physical and emotional issues.  Crystals absorb, focus and direct our energy fields to enable a diseased, out of balanced body to find its natural energetic rhythm again.  Are you feeling physically or emotionally drained, or perhaps giddy and unsettled, suffering from digestive issues, insomnia or stress?  These can be symptoms that your energy may be stuck, sluggish, or being pulled from you by another.  During crystal healing, crystal are placed on and around the body to balance and repair our energy body.  With the use of crystal energy, I will balance/cleanse the chakras (the seven main energy centers), remove energy cords that may be draining your energy, and repair leaks in your aura, allowing  energy to flow unimpeded.
