Certified Yoga Instructor
Raelene has been teaching yoga since 2001 and is an E-RYT 500, registered through Yoga Alliance. Her additional training includes: Restorative, Prenatal and Postnatal, Nidra, Meditation, Pranayama, Subtle Energy, Sound Healing, Chakra exploration, and more. Raelene is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She regularly attends workshops to further develop her knowledge and skills and teaches various formats of yoga such as Vinyasa Flow, Basic, Fundamentals, Restorative, Strength, and more. Raelene offers private yoga sessions for those who may want one-on-one additional direction and attention to specific areas of the body or to just go further into the breakdown of each pose. She believes that the most important component when practicing the physical branch of yoga is learning how to safely experience each pose through proper alignment for each person's body, which allows everyone and every "body" to enjoy their personal practice of yoga.
Her passion is seeing the positive changes yoga brings both mindfully and physically on and off the mat. She loves to have fun with each class and enjoys seeing the community of friendship and support within the classes. In her classes, you will also enjoy the experience of singing bowls, essential oils, mudra, meditation, setting intentions, and positive affirmations.

Stretch and Decompress *NEW
Suitable for all levels. Enjoy a class to help release stress and muscular tension. Gentle stretches, breathing techniques, and poses to help destress the back and neck will be practiced. A wonderful evening reset. Recommended but not required--Yoga block, Yoga strap (tie, belt, or scarf can substitute instead of a strap).
Yoga Flow/Total Body Flow/ Rising to Shine
Yoga Flow is a vigorous yoga class that moves through poses with the pace of your breath. The class is designed for all levels with modifications offered to take the class at your own level and ability on any given day. The sequence of each class will build towards a challenging peak pose(s) to stimulate both the beginner and advanced practitioner as well as the kid at heart. This class will be sweaty and fun and will challenge students of all levels.
Basic yoga postures and alignment principles are taught and used as the foundation for this class. Using breath linked to movement will allow the body and mind to strengthen. A short meditation will be practiced at the end of class. Great for beginning students as well as those who would like to revisit the basics or just to slow the pace down. Must be able to get up and down from the floor unassisted.

You can book your own personal yoga class to gain experience and confidence in your practice. The one-on-one attention you will receive with the instructor can help you make improvements quickly, without feeling overwhelmed or nervous about being in a full studio.
